Mykonos beach parties in 2016

Nammos

Nammos Restaurant by the Sea

Mykonos, with its cosmopolitan character, exciting nightlife and countless entertainment opportunities, “lives” a life of its own. We always have our radars on the latest trends, openings and new happenings on our island. When it comes to finding the best beach parties in Greece and in Europe, all you have to do is get your swimwear ready and choose which beach to go to.
In April 2016 Guapaloca Mykonos will resume its fun yet surreal body paint parties. The island’s famous Paradise Beach Club will also open in early spring. The 2015 season’s strong newcomer, Scorpios Mykonos in Paraga beach will make an even more impressive comeback in May 2016. Jackie O’ Beach, a small “universe” of its own, featuring a restaurant, large open bar, pool, jacuzzi and private lounge area, as well as its own church, is located in Super Paradise Bay. For many years it has been a much loved summer destination, and it is ready for new love affairs in 2016. Finally, Nammos Restaurant by the Sea is the top place to be seen, the “playground” for Greek and international celebrities.

Nobu Restaurant

Mykonos is a home to some of the best international restaurants and bars, all gathered in one destination. The world’s first Buddha Bar Beach opened in Mykonos in the summer of 2015, which quickly became one of the top hotspots to visit. One of the world’s most distinguished global restaurants, Hakkasan took over the Mykonian nightlife with the opening of the first Ling Ling open-air restaurant and bar. One of the world’s most recognized Japanese restaurants, Nobu, continues to be one of the go-to venues the island where you can savor the unique tastes and dishes.

The list of dining options worth visiting is endless and so is the flashy crowd who arrive on the island on helicopters and mega yachts, making sure that the best tables carry their names. If you want to guarantee your place in the house, make sure that you take care of your restaurant bookings in advance.

Around and about Mykonos

There is more to Mykonos than partying all night. Those who appreciate history can take a cultural break and visit the nearby island of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the mythological birthplace of god Apollo. Another great reason to visit Mykonos, is the opportunity to see it all from the sky. Private helicopter tours to Delos and around the island offer magnificent views of the landscape and sea.

If you love great shopping, there is plenty of that on the island too. The quaint streets of Mykonos Town are lined with high-end luxury boutiques, art galleries and jewelry stores. For the more adventurous, try a fun packed day of sea kayaking or ride off on a bicycle tour to explore the unknown trails of the island. Last but not least, if you are planning to visit the island in May, it is a great opportunity to enjoy our very own “Journey to Awareness Yoga and Healing Retreat at Villa Hurmuses.”

Whatever your reasons for visiting Greece in 2016, Mykonos should be on your list! Don’t you agree? We are convinced that you will fall in love with the island as much as we have. Happy New Year and see you in Mykonos!
